Jaques (?) St George c1840

Another rather lovely little set, with Kings standing at 2.5" tall, with knights identical in form to another set in my collection.

My suspicion that this might also be a small Jaques set comes not only from the quality of the set, but more importantly the knights not only look like my other set, but also look exactly like those found in a larger Jaques-stamped St George set which was sold by Luke Honey.

And, as to age, I would tentatively speculate circa 1840 from the form of the pieces, but may be anywhere from 1830 to 1870 I would say (with absolutely nothing more than my gut to go on!).
