Jaques Staunton "Marshall" library set c1900

A very sweet little library Jaques Staunton from circa (and after) 1900, as evidenced by the label which bears the expanded company name thus "J. Jaques & Son Ltd".  The "Ltd" was added following the company's incorporation as a limited liability company in 1899 (as per Fersht).

I believe this particular set dates to 1900 (or very close), because of the very close match in form to the first antique Jaques Staunton I acquired, which came in a box with the earlier "Jaques & Son" label.  So I'll claim this one as 19th century!

Kings are a dinky 2.8" tall, and the set comes in its original lovely slide top box with burgandy velvet lining.
