Estonian doll set c1980

A large  (5.3" kings) yet charming set from the former USSR.  The queens are quite wonderful Estonian dolls (there's an identical doll in the Tallinn museum), the knights and pawns from a Soviet Yunost (youth) set, all housed in a chessboard box stamped for a Ukrainian city.  Now in the Vikhram Ravi collection - sometimes you buy a set and you just know that it belongs in a fellow collector's collection more than yours!
