Krasnikov & F reproduction Tsarist Russian set, made in Ukraine, kings 4.2"

An unusual modern reproduction of a Tsarist Russian set, made by Valery in Kharkiv, Ukraine - a sobering thought, given the horrors that that city and its inhabitants have been through.  The set came with two stickers/labels "Krasnikov&F Perfect Replica Rarest Chess Sets" - so I have recorded the maker as Krasnikov&F in my database.

Valery made ten of these sets using an ingenious sounding device (a 2d CNC couple with a lathe) - my one arrived to me in a natural finish, so I took the opportunity to test out antiquing the set using a combination of shellac/french polish and Liberon's Black Bison Wax Polish.
