Small early plastic set by Gits, USA

An almost accidental purchase - I placed a very low starting bid on this one, more to watch it than anything.  Imagine my surprise when no one else bid, and I heard the eBay notification that I had won it!  Unfortunately I had not factored in the postage costs from the USA, which quadrupled the price!

The set, remarkably, is still housed in its original cardboard packaging.  A remarkable survivor, somehow! 

Apparently it is made of an indestructable material (made to resemble a type of marble, I think), flameproof and washable!  I haven't tried setting light to it yet, I suspect much to the chagrin of my collector friend who was trying to tempt me to try.
