Tagua Nut St George (?), possibly by F.H.Ayres, late 19th century
My second tagua nut (aka vegetable ivory) set. Some similarities with my first set, which has been attributed by other collectors to F.H.Ayres, which would lead me to conclude that this set is by the same maker (whether Ayres or otherwise). Kings just over 3.3".
