Unusual Indian set - bust head royals on elephants circa mid 20th century?

I've not found a set quite like this in my travels, though I am sure it is not unique. Very high quality wood on the black side, with the black king weighing 63g compared to the white king's 48g. Writing on the box might indicate it was made by a "S W Sikander", model number 411. Kings 4" tall.
