Late Victorian Staunton, 3.35" kings
A lovely looking Victorian Staunton, with decent carving on the knights. The set has a very familiar look to it - possibly a cross between what I like to call "Grays" sets and one of my unidentified sets. One white pawn head was missing - though this became my fastest ever repair, as I had some wooden balls which I had previously bought for a similar restoration - and I had previously stained one to an exact match with this set! Repair took all of 20 seconds!
