Victorian roll-up board, c1890?

A high quality roll-up board, which accompanied my Leuchars chess set in its auction lot.

I believe it is made from mahongany and boxwood with a possibly rosewood edge, and a grey woolen (?) cloth backing.  The main wood strips are approximately 1.5cm wide; the squares are ever so slightly longer than they are wide - presumably due to the joints between the slats (45mm vs 44mm) - other measurements are below in the table.  Having seen a few similar boards, I think this one is of a decent size.  It's in great condition, and lays flat as it should.  A very lovely board - and very portable!
