Whitty Staunton, 3.35", circa 1890-1900
A Staunton set possibly by Richard Whitty of Liverpool, circa 1890-1900. The set was in a very poor state when I purchased, but I am so glad the previous owners of the set kept hold of it!
The turned pieces are really very good - Jaques like in quality, with a wonderful finish and patina.
Restoration took a little while, but the results have been well worth it!
